My mother grew up in Arizona and she loved to eat any type of citrus. She had her own unique way of eating grapefruit, oranges, lemons, etc. She taught me a great way to how peal an orange. When I got older she would call out – “Sharon, please fix me an orange!” I would grumble and then take an orange to her on a paper towel. Isn’t it funny the things we remember from our childhood? I miss walking outside and picking fresh citrus from the tree. I miss the beautiful smell of orange blossoms in the spring. But, what I really miss is my mother’s voice calling for an orange!
Cut the peal off around the orange.
And there you are! This way works great for small children to hold and eat too.
What random thing do you remember from your childhood?

I remember one V-Day my mom would have special candies a dinner and or notes in our lunches.
That I still cannot eat pretzel sticks bc I swear we had them in our lunch every single day of our lives.
