Here are Sarah’s thoughts about the blessings of being virtuous.
I have always understood the importance and sanctity of being chaste before marriage. Choosing to be chaste has blessed my life and truly is one of the great decisions I have ever made. The promised blessings of being a virtuous woman that the Lord delights in are priceless. Virtue brings trust in marriage, good women, and everything we touch we bless. Our husbands are honored because of us. We are women of wisdom. All of these great blessings are worth it, worth every cent! For all of those women that are working on becoming more virtuous I am here to tell you it’s worth it, keep going and know that you have two cheerleaders, me and you Father in Heaven.
Waiting for the opportunity to find and marry my husband was one that took patience and some days of long suffering. But know it’s all worth it every tear, every lame date, or every weekend, prom night or dance that I didn’t have a date.
It is my goal as I prepare to be a virtuous mother that blesses all that I touch, that I will grow and work on becoming a woman of wisdom. Our Heavenly Father is excited for us to be virtuous women and it makes me happy as well.
