I am grateful that our oldest son, Bryan is serving in the LDS East Monterrey Mexico Mission. His birthday is this Wednesday, February 24th. He will be 20 years old. His birth was the most exciting of all. It was a Saturday. This is what we did that day – while I was in labor!
- Took the kids to the park.
- Went shopping and found a great deal on Converse tennis shoes for my husband and bought two pair!
- Relaxed and watched TV.
- Waited too long and my water broke at home.
- Drove frantically to the hospital – 45 minutes away!
- Missed the exit on the freeway to get the hospital.
- Bryan was born in a hurry by the on call emergency doctor.
- Bryan was born at the Baltimore Sinai Hospital (The best hospital care I ever received once the birth was over!)
- Do you have any idea how hard it is not to have a baby when the time has come? I do!
