We woke up to snow this morning! For some reason I decided to clear the driveway. So here is my hour story about my snowy morning!
6:30 am – Did not make it up the driveway! Actually I call it the driveway from you no where!
This is our friendly mailbox. It is a magnet for cars. We have slid into it a few times. Note to self and everyone – always put your mailbox on the up side of your driveway not the sliding down side!
This is the view from our front door.
I actually enjoyed the quiet of the morning. At first I could only hear the cars out on the highway. Then as time passed I could hear other snow shovels and snow blowers beginning their days.
I also noticed a few fun things – like footprints in the snow.
The neighbor hood was waking up – even the dogs were making their rounds.
As the sun was coming up I stopped to look around and I actually could hear the snow starting to melt! Drip Drip Drip
Backyard view – were those pots actually full of flowers 6 months ago?
Well the driveway was somewhat cleared and when I came in it was 7:30 am. What a beautiful, peaceful hour I spent!
