I came up with an awesome idea for a gift! A Candy Bar Bouquet! I did a quick search to see what Google could show me for “How to Make a Candy Bar Bouquet”. I thought – I can do that! So I put my own twist on it and will share with you how I made my Candy Bar Bouquet.
First I found some coordinating scrapbook paper in Boy colors.
Then I purchased some candy bars and some “healthy” granola bars too.
Then I taped a skewer onto the back of the candy bar.
Next I cut some paper to size and used my trusty glue gun to attach the paper.
I added some decorative trim.
Here are my assorted wrapped candy bars.
I found a clay pot and painted it brown and filled it with floral foam.
Then added some hot glue on the foam and pressed on some shredded paper.
Simply push in the candy bar skewers and arrange them. I also added some netting and ribbon to a few.
I think my Candy Bar Bouquet turned out great!
I wrapped it up in cellophane for a finishing touch.
The new mom called me right a way to thank me. She was excited because her older children were going to love it. And that is part of the reason for the gift – something for the older kids – they deserve something exciting too!
