Okay, I just need to say my peace. There is a time and place for Nursing in Public! And in the middle of Costco without any covering is NOT the place! I was quite shocked to see a young family, mother and father present with children and the mother was openly nursing her baby. My eyes popped open and I probably dropped my jaw! This is not appropriate. Thankfully my son was not with me. I do not want my children, husband, grandchildren getting an open view!
I nursed five children and at times I nursed in public – but with a covering and in a secluded place. I did not nurse right in a “high traffic” area. Okay, babies can get frantic and hungry – so go to your car and feed them in private. So I have said my peace!
So what is your opinion on the subject of Nursing in Public?

This Strawberry Jello Salad is a favorite of mine. But I have a kid friendly version and an adult version. It’s a great use of over ripe bananas!
Strawberry Jello Salad
Adult Version
1 16 ounce pkg. frozen strawberries
2 small boxes strawberry jello
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
6 medium bananas, smashed well
1 8 ounce container sour cream
1/2 c up walnuts, optional
2 cups boiling water
In a large bowl mix two boxes jello and boiling water. Stir well, until jello is dissolved. Add strawberries and stir until thawed. Then add drained pineapple, bananas and walnuts. Pour half of mixture in 9 x 13 pan. Let cool in refrigerator until firm, then spread a layer of sour cream on top and then pour on the rest of the jello/fruit mixture. Refrigerator until set.
Kids Version
Mix jello, boiling water and then fruit. Do not add Nuts! Pour all of the jello/fruit mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and let cool and set to firm in refrigerator. Add cool-whip on top and then sprinkle only half of the pan with chopped walnuts.
