January 2012

by admin on January 6, 2012

Okay December flew by.  It was overwhelming at times.  Somehow life kept going and I felt like I was hanging on by a corner.  You think by 50 you would have learned time management – I have not.  Today I woke up from a startling dream and immediately went to the computer to record it.  Then I look at the time and it is flying by!!!  So I took a peek at my daughter’s blog and she has been blogging a ton – I am so jealous and amazed!  Okay,  so it’s one of my favorite things to do each day – read her blog.  I love it.

A couple of weeks ago I received a new assignment in our church – and I was not released from my other responsibilities – so I have been juggling three.  It has been busy.  A good busy – but I think this Sunday I will be down to just one calling in Relief Society.  So If you have no idea what I am typing about – learn a little by going to lds.org or mormon.org

So here are a few photos from the holidays – I don’t know why I didn’t take more pictures – it makes me sick.  I was busy on Christmas Eve – too busy to put new batteries in my camera.

Our Sweet “Mary” and “Angel”

My favorite picture – I think she had the Mary look perfectly created.

Our new son-in-law was the only guy willing to be in our Christmas Story Play.  They other guys were in the kitchen attempting to make churros – not successful.

We had a red and white tree this year and hung all our homemade ornaments.  It was fun to remember and see all the ornaments we have made and collected over the years.

Bryan and Jonathan were twins this Christmas.  JB is hiding his swollen cheeks – his wisdom teeth were pulled a few days before Christmas – what wonderful timing.  But he survived it like a man!

Happy New Year!

I threw out all my 2011 coupons!!!

Family Christmas Fun

by admin on December 19, 2011

This is why I love the Holidays!

Spending time together!  We had such a fun afternoon – creating and tasting!

Sweet, Aunt Laura led the crafting.  We made stretch, lace bracelets and headbands.  Adorned and glorified!

We love these two Kitty Kats!!

Jonathan did an awesome job at rolling and cutting the sugar cookies.  Here is our recipe.

And he pointed out that this was all the dough left from cutting out the cookies!  What perfection!

Our Grandson, Mason will turn one this week.  We had an early Dinosaur Party on Thanksgiving Night.  We had some dino fun.

The best part of the party was watching Mason eat his piece of cake!

And sweet Shae enjoyed Mason’s new blocks.
